Hidden in the maritime forest of Jekyll Island State Park off the coast of Georgia, this Spanish American War-era Battery guarded St. Andrews Sound. Now rusting away, the two carriages bore 10-inch Rodman guns: "Barbette Carriage for 10-Inch Columbiad - Model 1861 Front Pintle."
