The Cravens House on Lookout Mountain in Tennessee sits quietly on a winter's day. Here on November 24, 1863, Union and Confederate forces clashed in the mountains overlooking Chattanooga. Some of the main action took place near Robert Cravens' house, which did not survive the war (but was later rebuilt). Union forces won the Battle of Lookout Mountain.
